Private Pilot License

You will be working towards a Private Pilot License. At the beginning of your training, you will be classified as a Student Pilot. To be eligable for a Student Pilot License, you must be 16 years of age, read, speak, and understand the English language, and hold a current Third-Class Medical. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) offers a combined Student License/Third-Class Medical. You can start your training without it, but you must have it before you fly solo.
